The UN has received information that Germany is planning to invade Poland on September 1st, 1939. Our conference took place only four days before. So, it’s important to act quickly based on a strong understanding of what was happening globally throughout the 1930s and how events built up to this moment.

Over the past few decades, space has shifted from a battleground of superpowers to a shared frontier, drawing both governments and private enterprises into fierce competition for resources. With the space economy forecasted to soar past the two trillion dollar mark by 2040, the potential for exploration seems virtually limitless. However, this surge brings its own challenges, chief among them, space debris––colloquially referred to as “space debris.” NASA estimates that over 6,000 tons of defunct satellites, spent rocket stages, and mission fragments now orbit the Earth, presenting serious risks. These debris fragments pose threats to key infrastructure, vital satellites, the well-being of astronauts, and fundamental systems, from GPS navigation to weather forecasting and top-secret communications.

The Real Housewives of New York City premiered in 2008 as the second installment of the broader Real Housewives franchise. Designed to spotlight affluent women navigating personal and professional life in New York City, the series quickly became known for its sharp humor, socialite culture, and escalating interpersonal conflicts. Over 14+ seasons, RHONY evolved from a genteel portrayal of Manhattan elite social circles to a dynamic, influencer-driven ecosystem featuring entrepreneurs, entertainers, activists, and legacy socialites. A spot on the show could more often than not, guarantee a massive public platform. Most housewives have their own businesses and brands. Culturally, the show has contributed to discussions on wealth, womanhood, social hierarchy, and the performance of identity in media.
In this committee we will be focusing on the truly iconic cast of season 8 as they discuss and navigate the dilemma that is Tom’s infidelity.

Shrek’s swamp, once a peaceful haven for the ogre, has been overrun. Magical creatures and fairytale characters of every kind are vying for control of the suddenly unstable territory, determined to gain the upper hand after their abrupt exile.

Set in the aftermath of Emperor Commodus’ death as depicted in Gladiator (2000), this committee represents a turning point in Roman history. With the tyrant’s demise, Rome stands on the brink between restoring the ideals of the Republic and descending further into imperial corruption. The Senate, once the backbone of Roman governance, must now decide the fate of an empire weary of war, slavery, and political deceit. Senators, generals, and provincial leaders will debate pressing issues of governance, succession, and reform, grappling with questions of freedom, loyalty, and power. Historically, this period marked the gradual transformation of Rome from republican ideals to an autocratic empire—a struggle that defined centuries of Western political thought. Delegates will have the opportunity to rewrite history: will they restore the Republic envisioned by Maximus and Marcus Aurelius, or secure another strong ruler to preserve Rome’s dominance? The future of the Empire lies in their hands.

The Minions, a species belonging to earth years before Homo Sapiens, exist in a tribe for the sole purpose of identifying a leader, preferably an evil one. For millenia, the Minions have searched in vain for an evil leader that could serve as their boss. Even since the dinosaur age, the root of their struggle lies in both identification and retention of leaders. But their eternal struggle has chapped the character of a Minion into a determined, resilient, and flexible one. The Scarlet Loyalists, Monarchists, Peaceful Minions, and Self-governing Minions alike share the same goal of attaining a leader that can unite and protect the Minion species.
